About Mason — LA Sound Mixer

My name is Mason. I've been a freelance production sound mixer based in Los Angeles since 2014. I originally moved here to do comedy, but once I bought sound equipment to help make sketches, my fate was sealed as the sound guy.

Since then I've worked as a production and additional sound mixer on independent features, shorts, and branded content — including theatrical releases like The Protector and Tokyo Cowboy, plus short films, commercials, and lifestyle content for brands like Affirm and Chipotle. I'm also a member of IBEW Local 40, working as a stage audio mixer for Universal Studios Hollywood's live entertainment and seasonal events.

I rent out the same gear I use myself on set, so it's always tested, clean, and ready to roll, with free local pickup and delivery around LA County.

Let me know how I can help you!
